Why a travel power bank is its own category

A laptop-and-phone trip is not the same as commuting to the office. You want something that clears airline rules, tops up a phone three times over, and doesn’t become the heaviest thing in a personal-item backpack. The “best power bank for travel” is really a balancing act between three numbers: capacity (mAh), output (W), and grams.

What we looked for

Carry-on-safe capacity. Anything up to 27,000 mAh / 100 Wh flies without paperwork. We stayed under that.
At least 30W USB-C PD. Phones charge fine on 18W, but a tablet or a thin laptop needs more headroom.
