The MAONO PD100X is a dynamic microphone that covers both worlds: plug it in via USB-C for a zero-config setup on PC, Mac or PlayStation, or switch to XLR when you move to a mixer or interface. The cardioid capsule focuses on your voice while rejecting keyboard clatter and room echo, and the built-in wind foam tames plosives. It records 24-bit/48kHz with a 40Hz–16kHz range, and MAONO Link software adds EQ, compression, limiting and noise reduction, plus RGB customization — three lighting modes with nine colors, or turn it off entirely. A tap-to-mute touch surface and a smart knob for gain and monitor volume sit right on the body, and the headphone jack delivers zero-latency monitoring. The metal half-yoke mount rotates nearly 360° and fits the included stand or any boom arm. For streamers and podcasters on a budget, it delivers clear, sharp vocals that belie its price.
